| In 1997, LeeAnn made a business decision
that she claims to be one of the best she has ever made. Knowing that the Kindest Cut had
a fiercely loyal clientele, she closed BOTH locations and opened a new, magnificent 3,000
square foot SpaSalon in a different area of Springfield in December 1998. The new SpaSalon, which offers a wide variety of unique facials, body treatments and "Sugaring" hair removal, in addition to traditional cutting and coloring services, revitalized the already dedicated staff. In 1997, the Kindest Cut SpaSalon was named a "Top Salon" in the prestigious Washingtonian Magazine and was recognized as one of the "Top 200 Salons" in the country by the respected Salon Today Magazine. To date, LeeAnn and her staff have appeared in over 50 different media outlets including national and international women's publications and a nationally syndicated radio show. LeeAnn continues to rely on her entrepreneurial spirit to guide her with business decisions. This spirit also enables her to continue as a hands-on leader for her staff and a forward-thinking professional behind the chair. She and her staff consistently create refreshing and exciting business programs for clients and the community. Through the years, however, no matter how many solid programs LeeAnn and the staff at The Kindest Cut SpaSalon develop, there remains one constant business philosophy - complete client satisfaction. Without it, no business would be successful for one minute, let alone almost two decades. The local community has embraced The Kindest Cut SpaSalon's unique programs including "Teen Night," where, as LeeAnn puts it, "we close the doors to our adult clientele and open them to our future." This special event is open to all local teens and is held at the SpaSalon every month. Teens receive free beauty/grooming tips on subjects ranging from choosing the perfect hairstyle to dealing with problem skin. Its "Kut in the Community" program involves members of the SpaSalon team visiting local businesses, community groups and churches or having these organizations visit the SpaSalon for a free beautycare/grooming program. "Kut in the Community" programs are custom designed depending on the organization's requests. Topics can range from versatile hairstyles for people of any age to beauty/grooming tips when traveling on business or vacation. The Kindest Cut SpaSalon's "Corporate Gifting" program is popular with local businesses of any size.
