| You and The Kindest Cut SpaSalon staff have been a very large
part of my life for 28 years. Our success at The Kindest Cut has
always been because of the dedication of our staff to our
clients; the fulfillment of an idea and a vision of what quality
hair-care and esthetical services should be. Many of our clients
and staff have remained and some have moved on, yet each have
contributed and left something of value. A spoken word, an idea;
their spirit and creativity have contributed to our success and I
want to thank all for their contributions. I have talked for years about sailing around the world. The time has come for me to move on to a new “old” dream. It will be hard to walk away from all of you, staff and clients alike. I am fond of saying, “change is good” and as of January 1 2010, The Kindest Cut will change ownership. I will remain with the salon until September 30, 2010. I will continue to mentor the new owner and service clients. I will make sure that all clients that I personally take care of are in good, capable and creative hands by the time I set sail. I am very proud to announce that as of January 1, 2010, The Kindest Cut’s new owner will be my friend and colleague Priti Juneja. I hope you all will show her as much support and loyalty as you have given to me these past 28 years. When it came time to determine what qualities the new owner should have, I decided that I wanted someone who would respect the culture of the salon and value its employees, someone with a vision and who has a passion for our profession. Priti is just that person; she has the creativity, passion and skills to take the salon to a new level. She has been a member of the current staff for 14 years. She started out as a shampoo assistant, and has matured into a very talented stylist and educator. She has always told me she wanted to someday own this salon and finally her dream is now coming true. I would like to thank all of you for having touched and enriched my life. It has been my honor to call each and every one of you my friends. Please join me in enabling Priti to create new opportunities for you all.
